Searches can be performed based on chemical name(s), CAS format formula and registry numbers (CAS, EINCEC, RTECS, Merck, Beilstein, UN(DOT), Std. Transportation numbers, EPA pesticide code and RCRA).
There are a number of different methods for performing searches.

& AND Finds only documents containing all of the specific words or phrases. For example, "acetone & nitrate" finds documents with both the word "acetone" and the word "nitrate". | OR Finds documents containing at least one of the specified words or phrases. For example, "acetone | nitrate" finds documents containing either "acetone" or "nitrate". The found documents could contain both, but do not have to. ! AND NOT Excludes documents containing the specific word or phrase. For example, "acetone ! nitrate" finds documents containing "acetone" but not containing "nitrate". As with the & and | operators, ! must appear between two terms.
ReturnAfter you perform an initial search, every matching document description will contain a "More like this" link that allows you to automatically search for similar documents.
